My New Stoneware Collection With Photos!

Hi everyone, The day has finally arrived!
My new Primitive Stoneware Collection is in my Etsy store! I can't begin to tell you how excited I am. This has been in the works for quit a while.
I had so much fun making and painting this collection.

I hope you like them as much as I do, they turned out beautiful!

All of these have been painted in ceramic paints. Glazed on the outside in a Mocha Crackle glaze, and a solid Mocha glaze on the inside, so they all coordinate. These are all food safe as I only use lead free ceramic paints & glazes.
I will also be adding a Butter Dish, Soap Dispenser and Napkin Holder to this collection. If you'd like to see these close up you can see really good photos at my Etsy store here.

In this collection you'll find;
Primitive Canister Set in 3 or 4
Primitive Grease Pot or Compost Pot
Primitive Salt & Pepper Shaker Set
Primitive Cream & Sugar Set
Primitive Spoon Rest
Primitive Utensil Holder
Primitive Wax Warmer not shown but listed in my Etsy store.
(IN THE WORKS RIGHT NOW)
Primitive Butter Dish
Primitive Sponge Holder
Primitive Soap Dispenser

If you have any questions about my ceramics please feel free to email or call me.

I'm going to be making other matching collections as well. This is just the start of what I'll be offering.

On another note, I'd like to wish all of the Fathers out there a Happy Father's day! My dad passed away several years ago and we miss him so much!
Happy Father's Day Dad!

Thank you all for stopping by today!

Playing Catchup!

Hello my friends! How are you? I hope you all are safe and sound from the tornadoes, and flooding! I hope you all had a wonderful Mothers Day also! I know it's been a while since I posted, sorry about that it's been one hectic spring on the home front. I have lots to talk about today, have to play catch up! We've lived in our home for about 4 or 5 years without a pretty front yard. A couple of weekends ago we finally put one in. (I got tired of looking at it!) We had the grass but no flower beds or flowers at all. So we put one in and decorated the front of the house. I hated how it looked before it was so boring and awful looking. I LOVE how it looks now, but were not done yet!  I'll show you more of the front yard, once we get some more work done.

Mothers day weekend my husband and I put our upper kitchen cabinets up. We chose to buy them unfinished just like we did the lowers, so we could finish them ourselves. I haven't gotten to finishing the uppers yet, hopefully I can work on them this week. I've been wanting them done for a long, long time. The bottom cabinets have been in for about a year. When it came to getting the upper cabinets in there was always something holding us up. But, finally they are in, and no one is able to see my dishes or the food in my cupboards for the first time in years! :) And I am VERY excited about that!  I will show you some before and after once these are done. Next I think we're redoing our hardwood floors, and the whole house is hardwood. (That will be alot of work)! We will be sanding them down and staining them, then add the gloss. The color we chose is red mahogany. It's going to be beautiful. Right now the floors look awful! I can mop them, and they still look dirty. Yuck! Can't wait to get the floor done.
This last Saturday we spent the day with our grandson celebrating his 10th Birthday. We had so much fun with the grand kids. Momma went and purchased a trampoline for the kids. Have any of you played on one of those? They are a blast! I had never been on one until Saturday. I got on with our granddaughter Brailynn for her first time too, and we had so much fun. She instantly started jumping up and down like she knew exactly what to do, it was sooooooo cute. I took some pics of her jumping on it, and playing with Grandpa (my husband). Here's some photos. If you look closely you can see she has her fist doubled up and hunched over getting ready to make her first jump.

She's having fun! Look at that smile!

Grandpa pushing her in the Jeep.

Now for the business side of things. I have been very busy filling orders for my hand painted primitive decor. I never imagined that I would ever be this busy painting products for people to display in their home. Thank you everyone who has ordered from me, and for sending me lovely comments to my email! I am flattered! I've been painting Primitive Canisters, Bread Boxes, Utensil Holders, and Salt & Pepper Shakers.
Sunday I added some Baby Quilts in the country category. Stop by and take a peek, they're adorable! No I didn't make these, a friend of mine did. They ship from my place of business. I will be adding new products to the site soon! Tons of new stuff, so check back to see them!
Have a great week everyone! ~Jody~

Whatcha Working On Wednesday?

I'm sure many of you are extremely busy this time of year, I know I am.  Most of you are gearing up for the holidays. I'm not there yet!  lol   So I'd love to hear what your working on today.  Are you working on everyday items or holiday stuff?  Fill me in!  :)

Today I'm working getting my last order of Primitive Canisters, and a Primitive Utensil Holder packaged up and ready for shipment.  I'm also working on filling another order of my Primitive Canisters, and my Primitive Roll Up Door Primitive Bread Box.

I received my first order of Ceramics today, the ones you've seen on my website under the Primitive Category & Hand Painted By Me.  I'm so excited about this because they are going to turn out really nice, and my customers will love them!  I'm going to be making complete kitchen sets.  Some will be designs by other artists, but I'm also going to be designing a few of my own complete sets!    I can't wait to start painting them!  :)

Have a good week everyone, and thanks for stopping by!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Hi everyone, hope you all are having a good day today. Happy Friday to ya! Today I added two new primitive products (OOAK) to the site today. They are a Primitive Crock/Utensil Holder, and a Primitive Cream & Sugar Set. Click on the photo to take you to it.

I would have had them on here this morning, but my internet wouldn't work again. For some reason when it gets hot outside, the satellite dish doesn't want to work, so couldn't get any work done. It's been really hot here this week. In the 80s & 90s today. I haven't spent too much time outside, I really don't like heat like that. So I opted to stay in and get some other things done around the house that needed to be done. One of my sisters gave me this old antique wooden lawn chair. I spray painted it white with a little of the wood showing through. Im going to paint some flowers on it and set it out on my front porch. I plan on adding a before and after picture when its done.I'm also working on adding some other items to the site again. Their listed below. Not sure in what order I'm going to do them in.Were thinking of attending a show in Packwood, Wa - September 4-7. It draws big crowds from what I've seen. So if your around that area you might want to check it out. I will let you know for sure if were going to go or not.I'm working on a new blog for the company, not sure when I will have it up and running, but when it is, you will see a change if you keep up with my blog.

If you have a gift certificate that has expired, and you would like to use it, let me know by either email or phone so I can give you the discount! Ok, that's it for now. You all have a good weekend, and be safe! ~Jody~
