New Card & Misc.

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone! Hope you all are having a great week so far. This week has been really busy. I've been filling orders, planning what will be added next, and working on getting this blog up and running. What you can expect to see next are some Kim Klassen, Maxine Thomas, & Renee Mullins designs. If you like any designs by these gals, you may want to check back. I'm also going to be working on this blog again. I've joined Twitter & Facebook, and will be adding a link in my blog and on my website that will take you directly to both of those. With this new blog, it allows you to comment, make a suggestion, or ask any questions you have. The options are below each blog I create, so feel free to use them! I'd be happy to hear from you. I mentioned a while back that I was going to be designing my first greeting card. Well that card is finished and here are the results. Click on photos for an enlarged image. I made this thank you card using one of my mothers rubber stamps & my new Cricut Expression, that my kids got me for Mothers Day. (The images used on the card are copyright protected), they belong to my mother). I hope to add my cards to the site and ebay in the future. Have a great weekend everyone!~Jody~

JULY 2009

Good Morning everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend! We were really we busy over the weekend. Rick and I worked around the house Saturday. He cleaned our boat inside and out. I cleaned house. Mostly organizing closets and stuff like that. Sunday we decided to take our boat out on Puget Sound. It's been a year since we've taken it out. I took a few snapshots of our day. Your looking at downtown Seattle, The Seattle Space Needle & Mount Rainier with a ferry in the background. Washington is such a beautiful state!

I mentioned, I was going to show you a photo of the antique chair that my sister gave me. I'm going to paint it, and set it out on my front porch when its finished. Im posting a before picture so you can see the before and after shots.

My Art room, where I do all my work.

My Store

Recently I've discovered the art of Card Making. I'm using my new cricut that my kids gave me for mothers day. I'm in the process of creating my first greeting card. If you've noticed the other blogs I follow, their all card makers. I'm just facinated with their work, so thought I'd try it myself. You should also see some of the little kids works of art, unbeleivable for their age. "Good Job"! I love trying new things, it's so fun. It's like theres no end to creativity! I will post a photo of my card when it's done, so you can see the finished product.
I'm also working on some new products to add to the site this Friday. Hope you'll stop by and take a peak!
Have a Good Week Everyone!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Hi everyone, hope you all are having a good day today. Happy Friday to ya! Today I added two new primitive products (OOAK) to the site today. They are a Primitive Crock/Utensil Holder, and a Primitive Cream & Sugar Set. Click on the photo to take you to it.

I would have had them on here this morning, but my internet wouldn't work again. For some reason when it gets hot outside, the satellite dish doesn't want to work, so couldn't get any work done. It's been really hot here this week. In the 80s & 90s today. I haven't spent too much time outside, I really don't like heat like that. So I opted to stay in and get some other things done around the house that needed to be done. One of my sisters gave me this old antique wooden lawn chair. I spray painted it white with a little of the wood showing through. Im going to paint some flowers on it and set it out on my front porch. I plan on adding a before and after picture when its done.I'm also working on adding some other items to the site again. Their listed below. Not sure in what order I'm going to do them in.Were thinking of attending a show in Packwood, Wa - September 4-7. It draws big crowds from what I've seen. So if your around that area you might want to check it out. I will let you know for sure if were going to go or not.I'm working on a new blog for the company, not sure when I will have it up and running, but when it is, you will see a change if you keep up with my blog.

CUSTOMERS WITH EXPIRED GIFT CERTIFICATES!

If you have a gift certificate that has expired, and you would like to use it, let me know by either email or phone so I can give you the discount! Ok, that's it for now. You all have a good weekend, and be safe! ~Jody~

NEW BLOG

Hello! and welcome to my blog! I usually blog through my website, but after some advice, I was told I needed an outbound blog. So, here I am creating this new blog. I will be adding some of my old blog posts from my website, (not too many) just to get this blog started. I usually blog once or twice a week, and update you with what kinds of paintings or projects I'm working on. I will also be filling you in on my personal life a little bit. I will be submitting photos of my paintings, family, art room for you to see. I will also be adding a slideshow of some of my products sometime in the future. I look forward to blogging here, hope you will follow along with me. Please feel free to leave me a comment, make a suggestion, or ask a question, it's what makes posting here worthwhile! Thank You! ~Jody~

What's New

Hello and happy wednesday to everyone! Hope you all had a fun, safe fourth of July weekend. We all went down to the water front to watch the fireworks show that the city puts on. It's the first time my daughter and I have seen it, rick has seen it before and wanted to take us to it. We really enjoyed the show, it was wonderful, and there were lots of nice fireworks. Here's what's going on at Adorable Country Classics. I've had some health issues which I've had for a while now. I've been seening a couple doctors, and had some tests done. They didnt find anything, thank god.The company my husband works for has promoted him to being the company mechanic and with that they purchased a really nice kenworth shop truck, and new shop thats close to home. Last week I spent some time with my husband riding around in a Kenworth for him so he could practice driving a big rig before he takes his test. Yes, I have a CDL class A with a tankers enodorsment. I actually drove dump trucks, water trucks, and belly dumps for 7 yrs before I started this business. I still love driving, just hate the hours. But BIG Trucks are my thing. lol So along with going to the doctors and filling orders, and riding around with my husband, I've been pretty busy. I am still working on the new products that I mentioned, and hopefully will have one of them up by the end of this week, or monday. Have a good week everyone! ~Jody~
