Christmas Mitten Ornaments-Renee Mullins

Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a happy new year so far!

I've been really busy painting all kinds of things!

Today I'm sharing with you the finished Mitten Ornaments that I've been working on.

 I normally only share photos of my finished projects and not the item in stages.  But, I thought maybe you might be interested in seeing these. So I took these photos with my phone and one day I noticed that my phone had all the photos together of these mittens and animated them and turned them into a video. I thought this was so cool, because my phone has never done that before! So, I'll be sharing a little video on how I painted these. I think sharing this way is so awesome because you can see how I painted my items step by step.

These were so fun to paint! I love Christmas, and Gingerbread men, don't you! They're so cute!!!

And who doesn't love Christmas cookies!

Hand Painted Snowman

Happy Wednesday everyone! "Meet Snow Bright". I painted this Snowman, a Renee Mullins design, in Buttermilk, and then decided he needed to be lightened up, so I textured him in white, so he actually looks like a snowman. Snow Bright has an attached wood nose, and arm. He's wearing a green vest adorned with snowflakes, and a blue scarf. He has a Saltbox house with trees and stars on the lower half of him. The back of him is painted in solid matching colors. What is nice about him, is that you can have him with different options at no additional charge. Options are: Have him painted plain with no scene. With the scene, and with or without snowtex, battery operated tealight or regular tealight, as you can see from the photos below he looks different in each one. He's holding a miniture black metal lantern in each photo, with glass sides & handle, that holds a battery operated tealight, or a regular tealight candle. He comes assembled to the base and ready to use. He measures 29" Tall x 18" Wide from tip of arm to edge of scarf x 1" Thick. The base he is attached to is painted white and shaded to match him. He has a brace in the back that he is screwed to so he stands firmly. With SnowTex, you can click on the photo to see where I've added it. But it's on his hat, nose, several spots on his arm, twig arm, roof of house, and on the hill.

Custom Orders

I wanted to talk a little about custom orders today.  As many of you know, I do custom orders for anyone who would like something special.  Recently I've made a huge change to my website, with MOST of my products.  Now you can choose any product you want, and have it painted any way you want.  That includes haveing a different design, color, add ons, & leave outs for no additional charge.  You still have all the old options available to you as well.  This gives you alot more options for matching your existing decor.  I know there are alot of you who would like to see more Terrye French & Renee Mullins designs on my site.  I'm working on that.   If there is a product on my site, or something special that you would like made with one of these artists designs, please feel free to contact me, and we can talk. I see people are using the poll I've set up on my blog, asking what you'd like to see more of, and you're voting for your favorites. Now that I know who's designs your more interested in, I'd like to know:
1. Which designs by these artists are you most interested in seeing? You can give me item #'s or the name of their design. If you don't know the item # or name of their design, you can go to each of the artists websites, (link on right side of this blog) to pick out the designs your interested in.
