Halloween Candy Jar/Cookie Jar "Boo Crew"

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share my newest make with you. This is a hand made Ceramic Candy Jar/Cookie Jar that I made. It's been painted with Acrylic paints and then sprayed on the outside with several coats of a glossy ceramic sealer. The inside of the canister has been glazed in a clear ceramic glaze so it's food safe. It has a silicone rubber seal in the lid. This is a Jamie Mills Price design.
I really loved making this. It was so fun! I love Fall & Halloween, so I wanted to do something for this time of year. I can't remember the last time I painted anything with a Fall or Halloween design on it. I'm so glad I had the time to make this in between orders.
I hope it finds a special home to go to because it's one of my favorites.  It's available for purchase in my Etsy shop here.
Once it's been sold I will move it to the "Made To Order" category so it can still be purchased.

Cookie Jars, Butter Churns, Ceramic Canisters, Lidded Jars, Etsy Store

Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a relaxing weekend!
I spent the weekend pouring & cleaning ceramics, which I love doing.
This week I will be finishing a canister set for a customer that will be done in ceramic paints & glazes. I will also try and finish a couple of pieces that are painted in ceramic paints & glazes, for my primitive set I'm putting together.
I'm hoping to fire this Saturday.

I've decided to list all of the items I'm going to be making, on my Etsy store and not here on my blog.  It will make transactions smoother for my customers, and it will make it easier for me as well.
With that being said here are the ceramic items available in my Etsy store.

New Painting Added

Hello everyone!  Hope you all are having a great week!   I've been adding alot new products to the site the last couple weeks.  Other decor items for your decorating needs.  Hope you got to check them out.  Today I added a new painting to the site:  "Freezin Frank"  He's the last of four paintings to this group.  He's already for winter!  This painting was requested by one of my customers, thank you Debbie in Maine!  I also did another custom order for Connie in Michigan.  She sent me this old scale to paint this gingerbread design on, it turned out cute.  Thank you Connie!  Valerie in Ellensburg, your custom order is in the works!  Here's a couple photos of the two new paintings.  Hope you all enjoy!  ~Jody~

The Craft Bazaar

Hello everyone!, hope you all had a great weekend!  I just wanted to drop by and let you know that the craft show I participated in was a huge success!  I did better than I thought I'd do.  It was the first show I've participated in, in 20 something years.  I met alot of nice people from my home town.  It was such a pleasure meeting all of you.  The best sellers were my Chenille Snowman Item# 132, My Chenille Snowman with Cardinals Item# 138.  I sold a couple of my new ornaments, and something from my OOAK categorie.
I'm already planning on attending one large show next year.  All I have to do is decide which one to attend.  I'm already planning on what new items to make for the site and show for next year.  I will keep you posted when I figure out which show I'll  attend and what new products will be added.

I'm going to be taking some time off here pretty soon, to catch my breath some, and get ready for the holidays.  I need to do some regrouping & reorganizing, and clean my art room.  I will let you know when I do that.

I've also got some custom orders to do.  All these products will be added to the site when finished.

Orders

Hi Everyone! Hope you all are having a fantastic week so far! I can not believe it's October already! Can you believe how time is flying by? I can't! Before you know it, it's going to be Christmas! I'm still working on filling orders, so I have nothing new to offer you at this time. This is the busiest time of year for me. I was hopeing to add some new Fall & Winter items this year, and I still may, we'll just have to see how busy I am. I still plan on adding the new Terrye French, Renee' Mullins, & Maxine Thomas designs that I posted on the marquee. Hopefully you'll all be patient! :) This week I'm working on finishing the "Home Is Where The Heart Is" Painting. This is the largest painting I offer, and there is alot of detail work that needs to be done on this one. This coming weekend, I'm going to have a new Greeting Card to post to the blog. I made it last weekend for my daughter who is turning 21! this friday. I can't wait to post it, it turned out sooooooooooo cute! It was done in Pink & Browns (her favorite colors) and I used a Magnolia Stamp for the image. I can't post it yet cause I don't want to spoil it for her. So if your interested in seeing it, please check back. I will post several photos of it. Have a great week everyone & thanks for stopping by! ~Jody~

Teddy Bear Painting

Hi everyone, hope you all had a nice weekend! I'm a little late for blogging this week, sorry about that. I believe I've come down with the bug that my husband had. So I haven't felt to hot lately. I sure hope it doesn't last long. Because I'm filling orders I don't have anything new this week. But, I wanted to show you what I am working on. Yesterday and today I'm working on one of my favorite Teddy Bear paintings for a customer. I really enjoy painting these critters. By the time I get the body done and move onto painting the faces I get really excited. Why you ask? Because when I finally get their eyes on it's like the bears come to life! Their just sooooooooooo cute and cuddly, and who doesnt love a teddy bear? "I wish I was a Teddy Bear...everybody loves them, nobody cares if they're fat or old..." By Anonymous
