Grandbaby Photo

Here's the photo of my grand baby I promised you a couple weeks ago.  My daughter took this photo of her, and had it printed in sepia (some sort of antiquing) and then put the photo in an old antique frame.  And then gave it to me for Valentines Day.  I absolutely fell in love with it.  I have to say Brailynn is

We are extremely worried about her right now. Baby is having a hard time keeping her milk down. The hospital ran some tests and found that one of her arteries on her heart has grown in the wrong place and it pushes on her esophegous causing her to vomit most of her milk up. She may need to have open heart surgerie, but we won't know that until they do an MRI, which is suppose to happen anytime in the next couple weeks. She has been gaining weight regularly, and a pretty good amount of it, 12 Lbs. she's just darling! So, we are keeping our fingers crossed that she won't have to have open heart surgerie, please keep her in your prayers. I hope you enjoyed the photo, it's one of my favorites! ~Jody~

Custom Orders

I wanted to talk a little about custom orders today.  As many of you know, I do custom orders for anyone who would like something special.  Recently I've made a huge change to my website, with MOST of my products.  Now you can choose any product you want, and have it painted any way you want.  That includes haveing a different design, color, add ons, & leave outs for no additional charge.  You still have all the old options available to you as well.  This gives you alot more options for matching your existing decor.  I know there are alot of you who would like to see more Terrye French & Renee Mullins designs on my site.  I'm working on that.   If there is a product on my site, or something special that you would like made with one of these artists designs, please feel free to contact me, and we can talk. New Products Added

We finally added our new primitive kitchen canisters to the website last week, along with alot of primitive candles & such.  We designed these canisters and are making these ourselves.  They are very stylish and vintage looking & match most of my other primitive decor items.  These can be purchased as a set of 3 or set of 4. You have your choice of sayings.  You have several knob choices.  You can get these painted any way you like, not just primitive.  You can also get a matching cookie jar!  These can also be made into stackable sets.  I'm guessing these are going to be really popular.  I've done alot of research on the internet and haven't found anything like them.  I hope you like them.

What's next?  Well I'm working on filling orders right now, then will be working on the custom orders I have.

Changeing Product Options

I'm going to be working on changeing the way the product options are set up on some of my items on my website,  the next couple of days. You will still be able to order any of the items with the options that I had offered in the past.  I'm setting the products up to be customized by you, it offers you a way to design any of my products any way you want.  And makes it easier for everyone.  I'd love to hear some feedback on what you think about this.
The last couple weeks I've been really busy filling orders, plus I'm really sick too.  I know many of you are having severe weather, I hope you all stay safe and warm!

I have added size information for the Primitive Tissue Box Covers, Item #189 on the site this week.  The measurements are for the Puff Plus Tissues.  I will be adding the Kleenex brand real soon, as they are different sizes than the Puff Plus tissues.

Soon I will have the measurments for the Primitive Canister Set #4, Item #159 on the site, along with a new photo of them on the site & blog.  Right now I offer the canisters as 3 to a set, but I'm considering offering those as 4 to a set as well.  I'm also considering offering other wording so you may design them your self. 

I'm also going to be offering stars & pineapples & knob choice as new product options.  The new product options I've recently added to the site are working great!  I've had several people design their own products the way they want them.  Please make sure you check the appropriate boxes when ordering, as your item will be made according to what options you choose.

This year I will also be painting custom orders as well, and will add them to the site as well when their finished.  I hope this helps clarify what you can expect to see this year.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Running Behind

Hello Everyone!

Hi all! Happy Friday too ya!  I've been busy filling orders this week, so I don't have anything new to offer.  I am however working on a list of items that I will be adding to the site this year.  I wanted to be a little more clearer, so you know what to expect.  So I hope to have the list done and will be adding it to the blog on Monday.  I am also going to be adding some more product options to the site as well, and will let you know what they are and when I add them. New Product Added -Tender Loving Bear Snowglobe

Hello friends, how are you today?  I hope you had a good week.  I added a new product today.  It's this adorable snowglobe. This was actually requested by one of my customers, thank you Debbie!  The tender loving bear is trying to put the nose back on his snowman.  I used a medium called snowtex to create real looking snow.  I've also used opal dust to give sparkle to his wings, heart and ribbon.  The globe sits on a rectangular base that has been painted with twiggy vines, pine needles, and cranberry pip berries.  The edge of the base is striped with mauve checks & white dots.  The knob and feet are painted & dotted as well.  Measures 10"T x 6 3/4"W x 4" Deep. Comes fully assembled.  This makes a nice winter decoration.   You can find this product in the
